Washington
Most people begin their search for addiction treatment close to home. But sometimes, we all just need to get away. Traveling to a new environment is a proven way to disrupt routine and reset. And, when it comes to recovery, a new location can provide the distance and clarity needed for a fresh start.
Maui Recovery, located on the island of Maui in Hawaii, offers a residential treatment experience for those who want to step away from daily stressors, people, and routines. It is an idyllic location for anyone looking to immerse themselves in a supportive and serene recovery setting.
Our oceanfront treatment center provides personalized addiction care, evidence-based therapies, and a peaceful environment to support deep healing. While we are not located in Washington, many people from Seattle, Spokane, Tacoma, and other communities consider Maui Recovery when searching for a residential program to help them make the changes they seek.
what sets us apart
What Maui Recovery Treats and How We Help
Maui Recovery provides medically supervised detox and residential inpatient treatment for people facing substance use, mental health, and behavioral health challenges. For some clients, treatment begins with detox services to safely manage withdrawal before transitioning into structured inpatient care.
Our clinical team works with clients experiencing substance use disorders involving alcohol, opioids, cocaine, marijuana, amphetamines, prescription drugs, fentanyl, heroin, psychedelics, and club drugs. We also support clients navigating mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, and thought disorders.
Some clients also seek treatment for behavioral health challenges such as technology addiction, social media overuse, gambling addiction, eating disorders, sex addiction, or codependency.
Treatment combines evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). We also offer unique experiential approaches, including adventure therapy, nature immersion, equine therapy, surf therapy, and Hero’s Journey programming. This balanced approach and variety of options help clients address both the clinical and personal sides of recovery.
